MOBILE DISPENSARY

The members of our General Body, 2003 have taken a formal decision of running a mobile dispensary for the use and medi-care of the rural people, which is an important aspect for the betterment of rural health.

This is the second year of running the mobile dispensary. We have appointed a Medical Doctor, Nurse, Attender and Dietician of the rural areas adjacent to Ranga Reddy District. We are glad to note that some 1,200 people of these villages have been treated. The necessary medicines have also been distributed to them.

The medical team has identified the patients and the necessary diet programme have been prescribed by the dietician to pregnant women and to children below five years of age, in these villages. We had tie-up with Lakshmi Health Care Hospitals, Vanasthalipuram, for emergency cases.

The transport for our medical team to visit these villages was arranged by means of a rented van during Sundays and on Public gathering to suit their convenience in a limited way. We are looking for grant-in-aid for Mobile Dispensary.
